Race 1

Larry says, "It's safe to say the opening race is nothing to get excited about with none of the runners coming off good runs. In fact DYNAMIC GENERAL with a last start fourth placing to his name has the best recent form on paper and while he never threatened on that occasion, this company suits and he handles the poly so worth thought. COUNTRY QUACK was well beaten in ninth last start but showed two back that he goes OK on his day and will find this company to his liking. Also in his favour is his most recent win was in a similar affair to this and expect support and a big run with Troy See to ride. REACH FOR THE SUN is no world-beater but picks himself on solid form of late and he might not find a weaker Class 4 field. Nothing else excites but HOST THE NATION and WIRA SAKTI could be included in exotics. Betting Strategy - small bet only, COUNTRY QUACK."

Race 2

Larry says, "A Class 5 with plenty of depth and in fact you could make a strong winning case for most of the field with SCORPION KING the only exception. Starting from the top, FIGHTING WARRIOR was in the winning mix last start over a mile on the Poly and goes close over his only winning trip (and track) in Singapore. JOYOUS just missed over this trip in KSD Company last start and he can lead form the wide alley and should be hard to run down. PARKER also appreciates the drop to Class 5 and may be value with a 3kg claimer. SPUR ME ON also gets a claimer (4kg) and that may be enough to get a result in this grade after a good run over an unsuitable trip last start. Of the others that win without surprising, LAND BELOW D WIND, PHIDIAS and MUSCULAR DRAGON can be considered while AEOLUS will be running on well late. Betting Strategy - JOYOUS win, saver on AEOLUS."

Race 3

Larry says, "An interesting race with four main hopes and little separates the likes of LIM'S BLAST, ACROSS THE SEA, FIRE AWAY and SUPER DENMAN. Of that quartet, FIRE AWAY came in for heavy support at his last run and a bad start was very costly for punters on that occasion. He has drawn wide here but with pace drawn outside him, he should get a good run in transit and be hard to hold out. The pace drawn outside him is SUPER DENMAN who led and looked the winner last start till late and we can expect much the same again at each-way value. ACROSS THE SEA is probably the most honest of the quartet and is often value while LIM'S BLAST had support last start and did it tough from a wide gate so gets his chance from gate 1. You could consider LIFE IS GAMBLE who improves for a solid first up run and keep the newcomer, ENDOWMENT, safe as he trialled well but should need longer to show his best. Betting Strategy - SUPER DENMAN each-way."

Race 4

Larry says, "A small field to contest a $200k Group 3 race but with LIM'S LIGHTNING and BOLD THRUSTER involved, a potential classic. Obviously LIM'S LIGHTNING has the Group runs on the board with a 2YO feature win to his name and, given he won his next two to make it four wins straight, he is probably the one to beat. However, BOLD THRUSTER did the work when getting beat by a smart one in ZAC KASA in Class 2 last start and happy to think that that placing will hold up here with the race conditions - he gets 1.5kg on LIM'S LIGHTNING - in his favour. While it's never a two-horse race, these two should fight out the finish with QUARTER BACK (with best work expected late) and AUTUMN ASSAULT the next best. Betting Strategy - BOLD THRUSTER win."

Race 5

Larry says, "Some terrific Poly sprinters will head to the start of this Kranji Stakes A 1100m dash and while the likes of DISTINCTIVE DARCI and OLYMPIC ANTHEM have the runs on the board at this level, some very progressive Poly sprinters in NOWYOUSEE, MR ISAAC and CADET should all have a big say at the weights. Of that trio, NOWYOUSEE has finally brought his scintillating trial form to the races winning his last two and looks well placed here with 53.5kg to win again. CADET only carries 50.5kg on the back of two wins from two starts this campaign and while this is a step up in Class, he is in form and his recent trial was very good so he can win. There should be plenty of speed on so SIR ISAAC will be running on strongly with 52kg and, while DISTINCTIVE DARCI has a whopping 59.5kg to carry, he will also be storming home late with headgear back on. Go even wider in exotics. Betting Strategy - CADET each-way."

Race 6

Larry says, "An interesting EW Barker with form lines from longer Group I races, a recent Class 2 sprint and also the Garden City trophy to consider. The Garden City form has often been a reliable reference point and the four-year-olds BE BEE and MISTER YEOH both ran in that race and will enjoy the 5.5kg drop to 50kg for this contest. MISTER YEOH was run down late in the Garden City whilst BE BEE made ground from well back for fourth. A similar pattern can be expected and worth noting the pair ran one-two in the 3YO Classic over this same trip. CLARTON SUPER won this race last year and has been freshened by a recent trial, he renews acquaintance with Azhar who piloted him on that occasion and cannot be ignored. ZAC KASA won a Class two over 1200m last start and meets many he conquered on similar terms; like a number in the field, he would prefer 1200m but rarely runs poorly and with only 50kg should be handy throughout. Of the others RAFAELLO rarely runs poorly but has yet to win beyond 1200m and NOVA STRIKE is a proven performer in this company over 1400m but needs to improve on recent outings. For the exotics include EAGLE EYE and DANCE IN THE WIND. Betting Strategy - MISTER YEOH win. Box 1, 4, 6 and 7 in exotics."

Race 7

Larry says, "A KSA with some smart sprinters involved and whilst a number may be happier in KSB Company, there is still plenty of depth. SKYWALK put in a fair effort when resuming in the Garden City Trophy and he generally improves second up and is lengths better on the poly; with Michael Rodd to ride he will be hard to hold off over this trip. The one to watch is MAXIMUS who is resuming after an unsuccessful trip to Korea. His recent trial was strong and he has won three times previously at this trip; if supported he could show up fresh. The Steve Burridge-trained AUTUMN RUSH is rarely far away but has been finding it hard to win. He narrowly missed in a KSB last start and whilst this somewhat harder, he drops a massive 8.5kg for Simon Kok and on weights, can be in the finish. MOKASTAR also ran in that KSB, is relatively well treated and could show up with Nooresh Juglall staying aboard. Amongst the others RAISE NO DOUBT should be improved by his Garden City run, CONSTANT JUSTICE is anyone's guess but on best form could repeat his last start win whilst the resuming GOLDEN SWORD is a run-on type and is yet to be beaten in four poly outings. Betting Strategy - SKYWALK win."

Race 8

Larry says, "A KSC featuring a couple of younger horses that offer upside. The Lee Freedman-trained four-year-old MAGIC WAND has had several trainers but has always been a consistent performer and was narrowly beaten at good odds when resuming; the step up in trip should suit and with Olivier Placais retaining the ride should get a good run throughout and be hard to get past. SUPER POWER is another four-year-old in solid form and has won two of three starts at the trip; he has been freshened since placing in this Class last outing and with Barend Vorster to ride has the speed to overcome the wide gate. The interesting runner is the resuming MR EXCELLENCY who was running in Group I company last preparation and whilst all his wins are over longer, he has been trialling well and can show up fresh from the inside gate. You can also make a winning case for LORD OF CLOUD, CHALAZA and MADE IN CHINA so go wide in exotics. Betting Strategy - MAGIC WAND win."
