meeting preview for tue nov 20, 2018

With the Singapore Turf Club announcing that the boutique Tuesday night meetings will be replaced by a handful of Saturday twilight's in 2019, the seven races tonight are the last midweeks we will see for a while.

And befitting such an 'auspicious' occasion, the Club has put on a cracker of a race to get punters to the track, A Kranji Stakes A sprint which features both LIM'S CRUISER and ZAC KASA.

The pair ran one-two in the Group 1 Lion City Cup earlier in the year and while LIM'S CRUISER is first up after winning on that occasion, ZAC KASA has race fitness on his side and can turn the tables.

ZAC KASA will also appreciate dropping back to 1200m - his only winning distance - and more importantly could get the favours out front on the E Course.

It's by no means a two horse race with the bang-in-form ARAMCO a big show on winning form with a 3kg claim a smart move by connections given the race conditions.

Elsewhere on the card, Stephen Gray often finds improvement in his charges when blinkers are added and the affable Kiwi may bookmark the card with GOLDEN ROOSTER in the first and TRAPIO in the last, both getting head-gear and Vlad Duric for good measure.

Best Bets: (ZAC KASA race 6, win), (MAJESTIC EMPRESS race 5, value) and (TRAPIO race 7, value).

Bankers for Jackpots: Race 4 (1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 13), race 5 (1, 2, 4, 6 and 7), race 6 (2 and 4), race 7 (1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 11).

Click on the race details for the complete race card and the horse name for its history.

Good luck and see you in the forum!

6 - MAJESTIC EMPRESS - Raced handy enough and in the mix in better company than this last start to think he can win with gate 1 a bonus.

4 - ZAC KASA - Run down late in EW Barker. Rises 3.5kg but all wins have been at this trip. Should be prominent for Michael Rodd.

2 - LIM'S CRUISER - Lion City Cup winner resuming. Trialled well and has a good first-up record. Hard to hold out from gate one.

3 - ARAMCO - Garden City Trophy winner. Up in weight but well drawn and claim helps. Should be running on.

11 - TRAPIO - Won Maiden at this trip and fought on in 1200m Novice last start. Gets blinkers and should be prominent.

1 - GLASGOW - Put in a solid Singapore debut over 1200m and should be improved. Only win was at 1600m at Pakenham. Well drawn and could be hard to hold off.

2 - LOVING YOU - Consistent and took some time to get clear last start. Poorly drawn and likes to go forward. Big chance if rider can overcome gate.
