enthused about some good racing

meeting preview for fri apr 20, 2018

After what can only be described as a "solid at best" two days of racing last weekend, the racing hot's up significantly with not only a very good Friday card but the Group 2 Three Year Old Classic on Sunday.

And while we will have a closer look at that $500,000 feature later, two horses that came through the first leg of the Three Year Old Challenge in MOKASTAR and PER INCHARGE can win on Friday.

MOKASTAR was first beaten in the 3YO Sprint but he was being tested on the turf and very much appreciates being back on Poly (race 6) where he has won three times and looks an out-an-out all-weather track specialist.

PER INCHARGE also has a duck-egg next to his name from the same race but the 3YO was eye-catching late and given he steps up to 1400m in Class 4 company in the lucky last, he will be very hard to hold out.

Elsewhere on the card, a capacity Kranji Stakes A field heads to the starter for race 7 on the card and while the form is hard to line up with many horses looking further ahead to the Group 1 Kranji mile in May, LIM'S SAMURAI looks a big show.

The 5YO ran on super in the Rocket Man Sprint when resuming and that form should hold up here with RAFAELLO also coming through that same race.

Best Bets: (ENTHUSE race 4, win), (KEEP WINNING race 2, each-way) and (PER INCHARGE race 8, value).

Bankers for Jackpots: Race 5 (1, 2, 6, 10, 11 and 12), race 6 (1, 2, 3 and 9), race 7 (5, 10 and 12), race 8 (1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 14).

Good luck and see you in the forum!
